Q) Why spend a little more to purchase ours rather than the ones selling for a few dollars less?
A) The reasons are many. Firstly many of the other cheaper versions of this device WILL NOT work on Ford vehicles because they skimp on many needed parts that read the Ford protocols. In many of the other cheaper units the manufaturers have cut so many corners they removed crucial parts that prevent the chips from frying out after a couple uses. It is not unlikely to use one of those units twice only to never have it work again. Many times they also use very cheap bluetooth chips which limits the range of the signal and also has been known to cause dropped signals during use, pausing readings and other odd occurances. Many of the cheap versions ship from China, even with expidited shipping this still means it can take up to many weeks to receive your goods unless you are lucky, we ship from the midwest USA and even without expidited shipping you get yoour product within about 3-4 working days! Lastly, if you have a problem with your device you receive from us being that we are in the USA exchanges & returns are easy, not to mention when you contact us for help and our answers are in easy to understand English!
Q) Will this work on my vehicle?
A) This OBD reader is supported by ALL OBDII compliant vehicles 1996 & Newer. This means all cars made for sale in the USA after this date. It will be supported by some cars made for sale in other countries but that we cannot guarantee as not all countries mandate the use of OBDII. To check your cars OBDII compliance you can visti this site: http://obdclearinghouse.com/
Q) Will this work on my: Acura, Alfa Romeo, AM General, Aston Martin, Audi, Avanti, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Daewoo, Dodge Eagle, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Freightliner, Geo, GMC, Honda, Hummer, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Laforza, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Maserati, Maybach, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mercury, Mini, Mitsubishi, Morgan, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Panoz, Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Qvale, Ram, Rolls Royce, Saab, Saleen, Saturn, Scion, Shelby, Smart, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, Workhorse
A) Yes, as long as it was made after 1996 and is OBDII compliant. Please check the website listed above or your vehicles owners manual to verify its OBDII compliance!
Q) I have received the unit but lost the paper with the pairing code?
A) The pairing code for this device will always be "1234"

Works great on my 06 trailblazer but won't even connect on my 07 malibu. Not sure what the problem is.

it's a great code reader I bought for a while. I could not find the mini-CD anymore, is there any web link that I can download the s/w?

It took 30 seconds or less to get it paired to the car and then it told me everything I could have ever wanted to know. Torque worked beautifully with it, haven't yet tried other programs. I only hope it works for a long time, unlike some of the cheap versions of it, so I've read.

This product is excellent. I have tested this in many cars such as Toyota, Jaguar, Audi, Kia and it worked well in all those vehicles.

I bought this to pair with my android phone running Torque. It works great, supports the faster transfer protocol and updates at a good speed. Would definitely recommend, can't beat the price shipped either.

I found this OBD-II tool to be very helpful and easy to use. I'm very glad I did my research before sending my money just anywhere. It does exactly what was advertised and then some and connects easily with my Samsung Galaxy Note2. I strongly recommend this product. The only issue I had was the loss of connection at a very important time. Since then, it hasn't happened again. Here's hoping! Thanks guys for the amazing purchase!

It works. It works well with Torque. It doesn't cost much. Buy it.
1) I would like it more if the on-line wiki had a table of contents. I cannot see what's available to answer questions.
2) My Samsung G3 requires the pairing PIN every time I start Torque. No other bluetooth paired device does. I cannot find what I'm doing wrong.
3) I want to save data logs from my Android (SG3) to my PC directly. Where is the data log stored and what's the data format?
